As a result of the global pandemic, PPE charity Mask Our Heroes launched earlier this year. Its main aim was to bring PPE to the frontline, where it is needed most, and those behind it, which includes former West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand, have worked tirelessly to provide hospitals, hospices and care homes with the equipment needed to protect the vulnerable from Covid-19. So far it has donated 151,000 PPE sets and raised over £144,000.
Now the charity has collaborated with Italian bespoke designer Angelo Galasso, making over its ambassadors and showcasing how Covid-safe events may look in the future, which will likely be masked and socially distanced.
Creative director Galasso has also produced a designer mask, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the charity. As well as this, he has announced that he will launch a fundraising competition that you can get involved with. Not only will it be a way of raising money for an excellent cause, but one lucky winner will win a brand new wardrobe full of Galasso garb worth £5,000, which means you could bag yourself one of the Puglia-born designer’s bespoke double-breasted suits free of charge. Not bad.
All you need to do is head to qr2donate.com and donate a minimum of £3 to enter, which will go to the charity, and in turn help to provide those in need with life-saving PPE.
