Phillip Schofield has proved he is a force to be reckoned with as he has launched a solo project.
The 58-year-old This Morning presenter has joined forces with bag-in-box wine experts When in Rome, and released two eco-friendly boxes of wine – one white and another red.
Both wines are sourced from independent Italian vineyards, and made with a recyclable inner bag, which holds the equivalent of three bottles of wine in one box.
The white wine is a Falanghina produced by Antica Hirpinia in their vineyards in Taurasi, South West Italy, and boasts sweet flavours of orange blossom and acacia, as well as fresh notes of green apple and lime.
Nora di Troia is an organic red wine produced from La Cantina di Andria in Puglia, and tastes of blackcurrant, plum, cherries, as well as rich fig and warming star anise.
Schofield helped to select the wines in the collection, and When in Rome are “excited” by the new drop.
